There have been so many new vegan products on the market thanks to Veganuary and some particularly caught my eye. I thought it would be interesting to have a mini taste test with my boyfriend, of some new chocolate themed vegan treats. After trying each item, we gave them marks out of 10. Find out our thoughts below…
Doisy & Dam Dark Chocolate Buttons
These were so silky smooth and rich. I just loved them! I didn’t have as high expectations of these being just a chocolate button, but these were one of my favourites from the trial. I’ll definitely buy these again!

These look very similar to the mighty Malteser. However, I was a little disappointed by the lack of similarity. I really liked them but not as a Malteser lookalike. They weren’t very ‘malty’ and they were coated in dark chocolate which was nice but I could have done with a more creamier chocolate coating. They were also crunchier and less melt in the mouth. However, as a completely different concept I still enjoyed them.

These were really yummy! A bit like Mini Eggs but vegan. The chocolate was dark but creamy, which I liked. They were also less sugary and had a really lovely crispy shell. Approve! These would be perfect to decorate any vegan bakes this Easter.

I didn’t think I would love these as much, but they were so good! A bit like Smarties but I actually preferred them! The shell again was lovely and crisp. The filling was a dark chocolate which was so yummy.

Mummy Meagz Original Rocky Road
I love rocky road and there is no reason why this can’t be vegan. You can get really great vegan marshmallows and chocolate these days and this bar proved itself to be amazing. I was so impressed, and the smoothness of the chocolate was much appreciated. There were crunchy pieces in it which was heavenly also.

Mummy Meagz Sea Salt & Cinder Toffee Rocky Road
I think this sea salt and cinder toffee rocky road just tops the original flavour. It was smooth and silky in texture but also had a lovely caramel taste. This was less crunchy and so more melt in the mouth.
