March 2019 Beauty Trials

Going through your beauty collection can be so fun and rewarding! I just love finding little products I have been saving up to try. Rather than constantly buying new items, it is so great to just see what we already have. I still have lots of goodies to try from Christmas and so I was excited to make another one of these blog posts. I hope you enjoy seeing what I’ve picked out this month!

Pixi Rose Tonic

Rose is great for sensitive skin and this rose tonic water looks great. It was in my M&S beauty advent calendar last year and whilst toners are not a step I take in my skincare routine, I’ve always wanted to try this one. The brand focuses on botanical ingredients and the product claims to soothe, balance pH and tone the skin. It is suitable for sensitive skin, is paraben free, alcohol free and suitable for vegans.  You are to use it morning and evening after cleansing and before your serum and moisturiser for extra rehydration. Pixi is definitely a brand I want to try more of. It’s pretty, girly and focuses on achieving a natural look.

DHC Deep Cleansing Oil

This cleansing oil looks so heavenly to remove makeup with. You massage it into the skin and then rinse off with a face cloth. I got this for Christmas as part of my Latest In Beauty Box. Some cleansers are a little drying so I’m excited to try this one as it looks nourishing and luxurious. There are some great online reviews on this too. This oil also contains no parabens, fragrance or colourants.

Crabtree & Evelyn 60 Second Fix For Hands

My boyfriend knows I love my hand cream and he bought me this cute little hand kit for Christmas. The idea of the kit is to give you soft hands in just 60 seconds using the scrub and cream provided. I can’t wait to give my hands a little treat. When the weather was really cold and I was doing lots of cooking, they were quite dry and cracked. Crabtree & Evelyn are a brand I just love, and their products always feel so soothing.

The Body Shop Coconut Soap

The Body Shop are one of my favourite brands as they are affordable and yet luxury at the same time. They are also hugely ethical. The coconut soap sounds dreamy and it is also made from sustainable palm oil. The only thing I wish The Body Shop were better at was their ingredients list as they are not 100% natural and free from nasties. I guess it is all about balance.

L’Occitane Almond Hand Cream

I’ve tried this before, but I had this mini to use and I thought what a great time to pop it in my teaching pencil case to add a little luxury to my working day. I adore everything about L’Occitane from the branding to the products. They are just so Parisian and sheer heaven. Using L’Occitane products whilst eating Ladurée macarons would be the perfect day for me!

L’Occitane Almond Shower Oil

Alongside the almond hand cream, I had a shower oil in my collection. I just love the scent and it will make getting up in the morning more appealing!

Malin+Goetz Bergamot Body Wash

I mentioned this in my Latest In Beauty Box blog post. This another shower treat I cannot wait to try. It looks amazing and it is even great for sensitive skin prone to eczema (I used to have this as a child and still have sensitive skin). It is also an antiseptic!

Have you tried any of these before?
