June was a great month. It was my birthday, the weather was lovely and as always, I discovered some great products throughout the month. There is a lot of beauty and food in this blog post so sit tight, grab a cup of tea and enjoy! I really hope you like reading this as I just love every single thing mentioned.
FOOD…
I love having a magazine out on the coffee table for people to browse (including myself). I’ve never bought a vegan magazine before but this one caught my eye and I really loved looking through it this month. The recipes all look delicious and there are plenty of healthy treats to get excited for making. I really want to cook a load of recipes from this!
Graze Superfood Bites Cocoa & Orange Flapjack with Quinoa & Super Cacao Nibs
Snacks are so great for on the go and I’m so pleased Graze is incorporating healthier alternatives into their range. These flapjacks are really yummy and filling! The texture is lovely with a nice mix of soft and crunch.
Mighty Bee Bananito Solar Dried Banana Bar Dark Chocolate Dipped
Solar dried banana tastes so yummy and dipped in chocolate is heaven. These healthier snacks are just a dream! You have to try these!
Bird & Blue Tea Co. Pure Grade Matcha Powder
I love a good matcha latte and this powder is the best I’ve tried. Once blended, the texture is so smooth and delicate. It tastes so pure too! Lovely! If you love matcha, you must try this one!
Pip & Nut Chocolate Orange Almond Butter
Wow, you MUST try this while it is still on limited edition. Chocolate, orange and almonds are just a big hit when it comes to flavour. The ingredients are great in this too and much healthier than a refined sugar nut butter or chocolate spread. It contains almonds, cacao paste, coconut, agave nectar, orange extract, and sea salt.
I absolutely loved visiting Chewton Glen (which is also a favourite of June adventures) and one of the best bits was receiving Dorset Cereals in our breakfast hamper. Dorset Cereals are just so yummy and the flavour they give and their texture makes them one of my favourite brands of cereal. Their chocolate granola is heaven.
BEAUTY…
Korres Wild Rose Advanced Repair Sleeping Facial
The first time I tried this face cream was when I incorporated it into my night time routine and I had slightly bumpy skin. On the morning after, my skin looked so much better and the texture was lovely and smooth. Since using it, it has made my skin feel so dreamy afterwards.
Neal’s Yard Geranium & Orange Hand Cream
I got this hand cream free with a magazine and it was definitely worth the purchase. The smell is heavenly and it smells incredible! It is made from natural ingredients and contains no nasties like parabens. I love it.
The Body Shop Sumptuous Cleansing Butter
I wrote about this in my New In My Cleansing Routine blog post recently. You can guess that I really liked it! It feels so creamy and just melts away makeup. I love using it as my evening cleanser when I feel like a bit more of a pamper.
Green People Aloe Vera & Prebiotics Deodorant
I’m really interested into thinking more about natural skincare products wherever I can. So many deodorants contain aluminium we are putting that directly into our pores. If a natural deodorant can work just as good then why not switch? I’ve been using this Green People deodorant from a few weeks now and I’ve had no problems with being smelly from it! I love the aloe vera and it is so soothing as it is a roll on. I would thoroughly recommend this brand! The soothing nature of the ingredients such as chamomile in this make it great for people who suffer from eczema or psoriasis. It also has anti-bacterial properties from prebiotics it contains.
The Body Shop Skin Defence Multi-Protection Essence
I wrote a blog post about this product here if you would like to read. I think it is so important to protect yourself from the sun rays to reduce ageing and skin damage. It contains SPF 50 and this is great for the face as a day cream in the mornings. The formula is really light so great for those summer days when you don’t want a sticky face feeling.
