Lipsticks are one of my favourite items of makeup and yet I need to wear them more. This winter I am all about digging out those festive reds and moisturising formulas. These are the lipsticks that I will be wearing over December and I hope you join me in the process of celebrating the festive season in makeup!
Bobbi Brown | Nourishing Lip Colour In Pale Mauve 73
Starting with a pinky mauve neutral lipstick…. I had to pick one for daytime wear. This shade is gorgeous and the balmy formula is perfect for those cold winter mornings. I just love the colour of this and it is so feminine.
Bobbi Brown | Creamy Matte Lip Colour In Red Carpet 1
This creamy matte lip colour is a stunning red to wear. I love how you can wear it as a full colour or just lightly apply it for a stained lip effect. The colour fades well which is always a plus with a bright lipstick. I do find it a little hard to apply because of the shape but if you use a lip brush this works wonders!
Rimmel | Lasting Finish By Kate Lipstick In 51 Muse Red
This lipstick lasts so well and I always think you get such a reliable formula with Rimmel lipsticks. This bright red is perfect for Christmas parties or long festive days out.
Max Factor X | Colour Elixir Lipstick In Bewitching Coral 827
Coral can be so flattering and quite a refreshing escape from festive reds. The colour payoff on this lipstick is INSANE and I have worn this to meals out and weddings with little topping up. It is a great lipstick.
Chanel | Rouge Allure Velvet In 56 Rouge Charnel
So elegant and sleek. This lipstick is one of those makeup items that makes you feel that little bit more special when you apply it. The formula is soft and the longevity is amazing. I love pairing this with a great lip liner so the colour stays longer.
3INA Cosmetics | The Matte Lipstick In 403
Another bright and festive red. This is new to my collection so I have not worn it yet but the formula is apparently smooth to apply with a great colour payoff. This sounds perfect!
Korres| Pomegranate Lip Butter
On the days where your lips need a break, Korres is a brand I reach to for a lip butter. The tint in this product helps to give your lips a little personality whilst keeping them moisturised. I just love the formula and colour of this product.
