I haven’t written one of these blog posts in a while but I’ve really missed doing them and so I thought I would write one for October! I haven’t been able to get to most of my beauty in ages because it was in bags from moving home. But, now we have got some more storage available, I have been able to rescue it! I have picked some products out to try this month that I had saved for a rainy day. I love choosing some trial products out each month and I have so many miniatures that I packed during the move… It makes me realise how I should use things and enjoy them rather than keeping them for a special occasion.
Here’s what I picked to trial…
Phyto Paris PHYTO ELIXIR Cleansing care cream
This hair treatment sounds divine with macadamia oil for hydration. My hair can be quite dry and frizzy and I think I could do with a treatment like this. I look forward to trying it! It is also free from parabens and silicon, as well as being cruelty free. The cream contains Narcissus Flower wax which eliminates impurities and dirt making the hair ultra clean.
L’OCCITANE Lavender Foaming Bath
I am nearly out of bubble bath and so this couldn’t have come at a better time. One of my friends gave me a relaxing lavender gift set from L’OCCITANE a while back for my birthday and I have been saving it for a pamper session. I feel I might as well use the products as they sound so dreamy. This lavender bath foam sounds like the ultimate pamper product.
Shay & Blue Atropa Belladonna Eau de Parfum
I received this in my Christmas advent calendar last year and yet I still haven’t tried it! Before the products reach their expiry, I have decided to use some of them. It sounds so lovely with scents of narcissus, jasmine and bourbon vanilla. The size is also super handy to carry in my travel bag when away from home.
Rituals Ritual Of Dao Hand Cream
I love rituals and a while back I bought a multipack of mini hand creams. They are my favourite hand creams for super hydrating results. I just love the non-greasy formula and the relaxing scents of them. I thought I would give this Ritual Of Dao cream a go. The fragrance of White Lotus sounds divine and the Yi Yi Ren ingredient is used in Chinese medicine. I love how this ritual is focused on achieving perfect harmony between Yin and Yang, and hence finding peace and tranquillity.
L’OCCITANE Lavender Relaxing Pillow Mist
I always struggle to fall asleep and I have always wanted a pillow mist to help. I have been using this lavender L’OCCITANE mist and it is so soothing and relaxing before bedtime. You don’t need to spray too much and it just helps to calm my mind before sleep.
Radical Super Acids X-treme Acid Rush Peel
Another advent calendar goody from last year! I have been a little scared to use this as the name sounds quite hard core but apparently it is OK to be used on sensitive skin and is quite gentle. It is a resurfacing face peel and it claims to brighten and smooth the skin and is used like a mask 1-2 times per week. It does say that it might make the skin sensitive to sun and so to make sure you are using enough SPF whilst using and for a week after use.
NUXE Comforting Cleansing Milk
I love cleansing milks to take off my makeup with and this rose petal on by NUXE sounds lovely and gentle for my sensitive skin. Rose is good for those with sensitive skin and so I am looking forward to this! I find cleansing milks really soothing and nourishing.
Josh Wood Radiant Shine Hair Treatment Oil
I am nearly out of my current hair oil and so I thought I would give this one a whirl. It sounds lovely and is great for coloured hair like mine which can get quite dry. Hair oil really helps to tame my frizz and give it a glossier look.
L’Oreal Paris Revitalift Laser Renew Global Care SPF 25
I have had this sachet for a while but it sounds amazing as it focuses on anti-ageing and reducing wrinkles. I also love the fact that it contains SPF 25, another useful step to prolonging early ageing.
Have you used any of these products? Do you enjoy trying out different beauty products?
