I love wearing makeup but sometimes a lot of palettes can be big and bulky for travelling. I really wanted to find a few items that I could take away with me when I am limited on space and I found three beautiful pieces. The two blushers and eye shadow here are so neat with their own brushes inside and this is such an added bonus as it saves extra packing of makeup brushes!
bareMinerals Ready Blush in The Aphrodisiac
This beautiful coral / brown toned blusher is perfect for days when you want a glowy warmth to your skin. The lid definitely has a secure clasp to it so it feels sturdy for travel. I love the little brush and this is so handy for travel. The mirror is also so useful when you don’t know if there will be one available. Overall a versatile colour that can be built up or subtly brushed over the apples of your cheeks.
YSL Couture Mono High-Impact Colour Eye Shadow in no. 3
How gorgeous is this little eye shadow? I really wanted a small single eye shadow that looked soft but sophisticated for day and night. Obviously if you were after a smoky eye look you would need to bring other eye shadows but for a nice weekend throw in your suitcase item, this is a gem! The packaging is gorgeous and the little brushes are adorable inside. They are decent quality too. The slim packaging is perfect for travel. The shade is quite a peachy beige which is lovely for a soft natural makeup look.
Clinique Blush in no. 107 Sunset Glow
The reddish bronze / tawny coral tone to this blusher is perfect for adding a bit of warmth to the face. Again, the brush is such a decent one and the mirror is stunning inside. The case feels so hard wearing and it is beautiful to look at. Overall, another great travel item.
